BVM (USN) Celebrates ‘Vijayadashmi’ Fervidly
Strengthening the sacred ties of the rich Bhartiyan culture and connecting the young minds with the ancient legacy, BVM, Udham Singh Nagar celebrated ‘Vijayadashmi’ with immense religious fervour and ardor. The festival emphasizes the power of victory of Dharma over Adharma. Mr. Rajkumar (TGT Sanskrit) apprised the students with the significance of the festival, nine forms of Goddess Durga were paid reverence through "Kanjak Pujan ". A mesmerizing bhajan sung by the students of (class VII) left everyone spellbound, filling the aura with divinity. Sneha (X) through her speech delved upon the symbolism of the festival i.e. liberating one's Self from all the evil practices.  On this pious occasion, Aastha Grover (7th) recited a beautiful poem ‘Aaya parav dushera’. Bhartiyans of class 2nd to 5th showcased their aesthetic skills by making masks representing the various characters of the Ramayana. Aurobindo House emerged winner in inter house quiz competition (6th to 8th) based on 'the Ramayana' which was the main highlight of the celebration.
The Trust members extended their greetings on this auspicious occasion. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi  in her address urged the students for self introspection to reflect how new dimensions can be added to their lives to conquer their internal conflicts  with the inspirational virtues sought from lives of Lord Rama & Goddess Durga.
